Event Details
A series of gravel adventure rides that start and end in historic downtown Trinidad, Colorado.
The Explore Las Animas Dirt Series is a chance to ride the relatively undiscovered cycling terrain of southeastern Colorado. Old west history, a colorful rural setting, and access to two Scenic Bikeways provide the perfect backdrop to learn what Trinidad-Las Animas County has to offer.
What to Expect
Our objective is to deliver a 'professional' quality amateur cycling experience. This includes top notch hospitality and event management, along with offering elements that make up the culture and experience of gravel adventure cycling.
These are adventure rides, not races, but expect a competitive atmosphere. Not designed to focus on “winning” but instead celebrate cycling camaraderie, high performance, personal challenge, perseverance, self sufficiency, and endurance.
Routes are created out of an appreciation and love for exploration on two wheels. We’ve spent hours studying maps and route possibilities for ways to stage riders across the one of the most remote and sparsely populated parts of the state.

$75 Pre-Reg/ $85 day of event - Includes post-ride meal and two beers
